USA Cellphone Smartphone the Hobo Way

If you use Google Voice, you'll always have the same number. All you have to do is add your new sim card phone number under the account and then configure Google Voice on the cell phone and presto, you can make and receive calls in the states. Also, if you are back in Guatemala, you can then use Google Hangouts Dialer to make and receive calls to your Google Voice number. Just make sure that you have the +1 in front of the US number your are dialing and they too have to have +1 (country code) in their contact list for your number when they call you. I just flew back to Florida last week and was able to make calls via Hangouts Dialer using the airports wifi. After I got my new sim card, I just configured it and then started using the normal dialing app and now I was making calls with my new number, but it shows my google voice number. It's a bit complicated but once it's set up, it's easy. By the way, I gave Iva the video sunglasses just before you left Pana and not sure if Don gave them to you or not, but he's got them now. Be back in Guatemala in about 6 months! Nos Veymos.

Maybe Google Voice does not require Internet? But, I am 90 percent sure it does, I am talking about how to arrange, buy Internet access, Data while taxing up the gate in an airplane, how to buy Net10Wireless. Google Voice requires Internet, and we do not always have Internet access. I have Skype, and WhatApp VOIP which is what caused my problem, there was no WIFI in the Fort Lauderdale Airport Bottom line, cellphones work better than VOIP - Skype, etc.
