Travel Danger Rule of Thumb

marvin78

Hi hobos I am presently in Mexico city have been here since early Feb. will return to Canada late April. I can't seem to leave here as it is very cheap I give my adopted son about 200.00 Canadian a month for a room in a two bedroom apartment and then their is food and transportation .35 cents on the metro. Andy your latest video was right on about instinct recently I took an overly crowded metro with friends and was robbed of my phone and cash . My instinct was to tell every one to take a cab it would have been cheaper but I went along with the gang not, a good decision .Live and learn. Please keep the vids coming they are great.Marvin 78 from Calgary Alberta Canada

I'm SAD to hear that I love to take the crowded buses. I really do not like the cabs. Maybe the secret pockets?

Hello HobodMD, each person is different, we all have different abilities, strengths, and weakness. This is only saying to trust your instincts, and don't second guess yourself. I went to Iraq and never had a doubt I could, or should go. While 99 percent of people thought i was crazy. If we are obsessed on the safety of doing something, then better to error on the side of caution.

I think that was a strategy taught to us on test taking skills.
