Robert asked, which is better for travel in Latino countries, American or Canadian Passport?
If the question is about "Latin America" Canadian is better now. Many countries (Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Venezuela) charge USA passport holder a "reciprocal fee" for their visa of $161.00 to enter their countries. Brazilians are requiring visa in advance now for USA passport holders. If you have both passports, better to enter with the Canadian!
Here is a cute little video that tells you which passports allow the holder to visit the most countries without obtaining a visa in advance.
Cool, so I'm doing good with my German Passport.
Thanks Andy for making the video. Finally joined. I heard about cuba if you are canadian plus you can spend more and longer stay. Friend in the army told me about a canadian contractor after the taliban took him they gave him his passport and said we love canada. Cic.gc.ca is the canadian immigration. I ran into a man years ago with over 4 or 5 passports to this day I just do not get the reason of why. My father has a us passport on the bottom says born in the usa. Plus if you get dual a little card you can apply for a social insurance card. Walk in clinic in canada 25 min away is 55 in the states over 150. Medications in canada well certain things are easier to get up there but they ask you at the border.
