My Story, Stopped 12 Hour Work Days, Traveled for 20 Years
You are right. A life chasing money is not worth it. One life experience which both you and I share makes leaving the rat race easier. That is not getting married and having children. It is a mistake many people make when they are young and know no better. True marriage can bring happiness, but I believe that in the majority of cases it does not. At a young age, people do not know enough to choose the right mate. Hormones usually make that decision for them. I am over 60, but I choose to keep working. I love my job and it provides me with social interaction which I lack since I do not have a family. It has been my experience that if one does not have a family in the USA then one is isolated.
