It used to be in the Philippines, you didnt need a prescription but now you need to have one for most drugs. I am in Egypt now - You don't need any prescriptions here.
This is good, are you by chance anywhere close to the Sinai Peninsula, or Sharm el-Sheikh, this area seems to be the best option from a bunch of bad options for Europeans for a going south in Winter. In reality, they appear to almost need to leave time zones. Cheap winter trips is sort of difficult from Europe. If not a money problem, i would go south to Africa, maybe Ethiopia or Eretrea, but African plane trips are expensive. I want to hide from Europe in December, before returning home for Christmas, then onto Guatemala.
Greetings Andy- I like the analogy of the up hill down hill. For those of us who retire sometimes we do not want to do the onerous up hill climb for - - every little thing - - By saying up hill climb I mean we do not want a bunch of hassle having to jump through hoops and lay out a bunch of unnecessary expense to procure a pill. Kudos to those countries that offer a simpler way of life. Like S America and S Asia. This is a BIG plus nuance on my list of desirable country's qualities that I am reviewing as I consider leaving retirement to practice my trade in another country. Thank you again for your shares!
I am a little concerned on this, yesterday a man from England said he went into a pharmacy with a toothache, and they gave him some antibiotics. He did not know the type, so suspicious, but he did say that a Bulgarian pharmacy gave him antibiotics, so the jury is still out.
Im in Maadi right now, on the south side of Cairo. Im teaching at an international school. Its eids right now - people yesterday are killing and butchering cows in the foyers of their apartment buildings. They seem to be having a great family time :-P Ill start getting my Indiana teacher pension in May - I might then go live in the Philippines - I really love the south Leyte area. Getting cooler now in our Northeast Indiana Hoosier home Andy.
I want to try out Sharm and Hurgatha soon.
Often The dentist will dole out amoxicillin and vicodin or tylenol 3 to settle a flare up. We don't see tylenol 3 too much anymore,,, a fine analgesic for a tooth ache. Pen vk is also a very fine AB we don't see very much. All these new fangled meds that make vogue.....Often times the folks in Maine will come in for the 2 meds and disappear until the tooth acts up sometimes we'd see them in a day sometimes we'd never see them again.
