Hobo MD asked, Is The USA the Most Expensive for Travel?

Bob the Squid

Angola is very expensive if you're a expat trying to maintain a developed world lifestyle. Angola has a lot of oil, but because of their civil war that ended in 2002 there's not a lot of infrastructure that expats find acceptable and what is there gets bid up tremendously because it's usually people with oil company money doing the bidding. For someone who isn't trying to live in a luxury apartment and eat imported foods, I imagine that it's a fairly cheap country.
