Amit Think I Should Do a TED Talk, But on What?
Choosing life, sounds good.
There are two realities --- How I see myself? How others see me? We are all the same here, and why TED talks are cool. They keep the speaker on one topic for 20 minutes, generally it appears that most speakers only have one topic for their life, it is their 15 minutes of fame. It is what defines this person. That is why it is fun to think about, for me, how I define myself is probably a lot difference than others. I remember one time when I earned respect the easy way for me, I lost my drivers license in the USA, and needed to ride a bike for awhile. I rode my bike 50-60 miles in one trip maybe 10 times. Each time, my friends would marvel at this, say how great, and to me, I thought it was stupid, about anyone can ride a bike for 60 miles, it is not really that big of deal, they just do not want, or need too, so they do not. What we accomplish in life, how we change the world is often accidental. Everyone applauds me giving up drinking, and there should be no reward when one stops being a drunk. I only tell this, so people know we are all human, humility is probably more rare than people who gave up drinking.
