I love to make cultural videos, I want to record National Geographic type videos, but better, more authentic, no staging, no creating the situation, the real thing. I have been taking photos for years, however to record an authentic video of real life cultural events, you must be alone, and use a spy camera.
Why spy camera?
1. It is incredibly dangerous to photograph some real events, I got the balls, I do not have the equipment.
2. The event changes the moment the group see a camera, the world knows what a camera is, and do not want to part of my video.
I am still practicing, but I presently have in my hands a pair of sunglasses with a camera built into them, this new video camera is too cool.

Dominoes in Mundo Latino
I have been trying to video an ongoing game of dominoes for years, without getting my butt beat. Why, this is my first video, I have not capture a good banging noise. However, what happens is these boys playing will bang the Domino pieces down on the table. I am not sure why, but sometimes they bang the piece so hard you can hear the noise a block away.
The playing of games is always an interesting cultural event, what they are playing, why they are playing, and that they have the time to play all day. Many men or women cannot read, write, and have no desire to work, therefore they sit around all day playing games, most of the world works in between fun things to do, or conversations.
Well, now, I am going to be able to video more of these unique cultural events, chronicle the real world before they stop, and the world changes to a new channel.
I am going to be able to record some tribal traditions before these traditons end in the next 10-20 years.
60 Dollars of fun camera videos until they break!
You can buy them here:
I am going broke right now, I am losing money with this business, we now have three workers, and I am working day and night to recoup from the nasty things happening because of greedy monopolies. I will survive, but will videos like this survive?
I need to buy about 3,000 USD in new equipment before I return to Africa, I need a new camera, and about 700 Dollars worth of these spy gear camera, computer crap, a never ending list of small things, batteries, etc.
Putting up videos is at best a gift to my readers, I have yet to figure out way to make money with videos of cultural events. I have been witness to things in many cultures that need recorded and preserved for the future, before the world of cell phones and Facebook completely destroys cultures for eternity.
I am one of the rare travelers who goes to Africa, to the jungle of the Amazon, to weird, strange, dangerous and uncomfortable places.
Funny got a new contact on my Skype this morning, a beautiful girl from Cote'd Ivoire asking for help, said she was in a refugee camp and needed help, told her I could not help her finacially she said her 'pastor' gave her my Skype code, uh oh, had to block her and complain to Skper that this was Spam, sorry cannot solve all the problems in the world, suppose many of the refugees are being taken advantage of working in Internet rooms, sending out scams, in the old days befrore on line a friend of mine in Houston worked on the phone selling land and developments in middle of the Arizona desert, people have not changed, the technology has improved.
