Lens Pages on Squidoo
I read an interesting interview about Lens Pages on Squidoo, I do not have a
connection to check, however I suppose it is Squidoo.com. Whatever the case,
this interview done by Pauline Kerbici, Director of Marketing, High Rankings, or
as best I understood http://www.highrankings.com/advisor/seth-godin-squidoo/

SO, WHAT'S A LENS?
A lens is one person's view on a topic that matters to her. It's an
easy-to-build, single web page that can point to blogs, favorite links, RSS
feeds, Flickr photos, Google maps, your eBay auctions, CafePress designs, Amazon
books or music, and more. Then, when someone is looking for recommended
information, fast, your lens gets him started and sends him off in the right
direction. Win, win!

As I understand this is a way for you to go to another site and make a
comment that leads to yours or better just make a good lens.
Why?
I would recommend you as a Travel Blogger with maybe better insight on some
travel related issue can make some small pages, on this page you explains some
pros and cons of an issue. Making a looking glass or lens into the issue in your
words. This page you are on is a Lens in my opinion to what a Lens is, therefore
in my words I am trying to give you insight to a Lens.
I make hundreds of Lens, and have always done so, even before there was a
label, I used to call them doorway pages, but I think this term is too simple, a
good door, or lens should lead a reader to good content, either on my site or on
another site. I think a person should be honest and point to where the reader
benefits the most. I find the incoming links more or less come easily when a
reader believes in my site. Be honest, help the readers and the give them a Lens
into the world of travel, and they will give you an incoming links.
