Bigger Pile Of Bullshit Reasoning Theory - Tips

Thu, 8 Jul 2010 00:41:48

Hello Chris, This is very funny and real, the link you sent on opinions below. When I was a real estate agent, the also being a Philosophy major, I would often think or listen to reasons. There are two common types of logic, deductive and inductive and many variants. I would listen to people repeat a comment, somehow the expectation of me was, if I say it many times, then it is true, and strangely, when I sold a home, I would repeat a phrase many times if I wanted to influence the people, one comment I always repeated was, "Don't worry, we will work this out." Or "We will find a solution." Like a Hypnosis in way. But, I called my Bigger Pile of Bullshit Reasoning Theory or logic, and decision making. The more a person repeats, the bigger the pile of bullshit becomes, you then weigh each side of the bullshit and whoever repeatedthe most times is correct. This is silly and has NO logic, not reasoning, not good common sense, but exactly this what you have here.

People Often Think An Opinion Heard Repeatedly From The Same Person Is Actually A Popular Opinion Thank you,
