I Am Angry At God - Religion

I Am Angry At God - Religion

Mon, 23 Dec 2019 02:59:34

I am angry, I prayed, and my mother died.

It is not obvious there is a God, and it is not obvious there is not a God; this is the definition of an agnostic. To say have faith means, try hard to accept there's a God.

Don’t get me wrong, I do not think God answer prayers for our wishes, and desires, Is praying a lottery, where once in awhile I win, and God give me what I request in prayer.

When I hear these words:
“God answers all prayers.”

I think “Bullshit, who do you think I am, a fool?”

And yes, here are versus from this site relating to God answering prayers. Which, I again, do not care so much, I want to know why he does not answer prayers?

Matthew 7:7

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Luke 11:9

"So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

John 16:24

"Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.

Matthew 7:8

"For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

Luke 11:10

"For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened.

James 1:5

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream at night; and God said, "Ask what you wish me to give you."

Psalm 145:18

The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.

Psalm 65:2

O You who hear prayer, To You all men come.

Jeremiah 36:7

"Perhaps their supplication will come before the LORD, and everyone will turn from his evil way, for great is the anger and the wrath that the LORD has pronounced against this people."

Zechariah 13:9

"And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested They will call on My name, And I will answer them; I will say, 'They are My people,' And they will say, 'The LORD is my God.'"

Matthew 7:11

"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!

John 14:13

"Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

John 14:14

"If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

John 15:16

Ephesians 3:20

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,

All in all, what to do? I want friends in my life who give me platitude, words which sound good, but are not always true. I can surround myself with people who encourage, or allow the uglies to win.

I do think this is God's will, he, maybe she wants us to listen to the “Uglies” or the “Platituders,” and then choose the right path. We can always choose the right path, we do seem to know the difference between right, and wrong, which may be providence, God can interact with the word in helping us to know the way, the difference between right, and wrong.

I am still angry.
