How are you?
I am in Berlin, Germany.

I left Bogotá, Colombia, went to Indiana USA, then to Chicago, Illinois
to get my new TWO passports, then flew to Berlin, Germany.
I leave for Estonia tonight by

NOT SO CRAZY, just a little.
I am better, less crazy, need a recharge of my batteries.
I stopped off in the USA, said hello to Ma and Pa, ate some
Butter Pecan Ice Cream and restocked my life.

It is amazing how fast and efficient the USA is, I can purchase
anything quickly in the USA, plus the local telephone calls are free.
Life is really to easy in the USA, no challenge, I am very happy
my parents were from the USA, I am indeed a lucky sperm.

I went to the Chicago USA Passport and amazingly got two passports
in two days. Extremely easy and fast, however to receive a second
you must prove you need. I fortunately need one, so this will help me
to visit more countries faster. I can leave one passport for Visa
applications and travel on the other.

I like Germany, I think it is an easier country for living in Europe,
more space, organized culture, and other interesting problem to view.
Hard to put my finger on what Germany is about, however there are some
really great bums in the park, and this is fun, I think some Hippie revolution
like what happened in the 60's in the USA.
I am trying my best to take photos, however they are dangerous,
not your peace love type of Hippie.

I GOT THE PHOTO - Last moment photo.

I am not a great fan of Europe, too much work, I purchased
a two wheel cart so I can relieve my Europe stress. I normally take
taxis except in Europe, I do not wish to walk around some
European city just to say I was here.

Europe can be fun, however, this time, I am making absolutely positive
I choose a Hostel with a guest Kitchen and common area. I am not
going to live in one of them Flophouse Hostels with the bar below
me again, life is too short to live inside a bar.

I am calling this my PRE-Euro Tour... hehehe
I want to travel Eastern Europe before more countries convert
to the Euro and prices double. I travel on the cheap, I travel all the
time, I travel to enjoy my life, not to see things.

Map of maybe, who know.. possible.. Europe trip. I change my plans daily.

Summer is a good spirit, the great Gods come out to play, I finally
timed Europe perfectly. It is warm, the sun is shining and life is
good. I am spending in one day the same amount as I would
spend in a week in South America or Asia, the quality of my living
quarters is in the pits, however the place is cleaner. I do not think
it is safer though, these crooks are clever.

I keep laughing when people say,

"Europe has a long history."

This is true, as does every place on the planet.
Every country has a long history, however if you want the Western
history than you need to come to Europe to find your roots.
If you are a WASP... You have a Europe History...maybe...
White Anglo Saxon Protestant.

I suppose we do think we rule the world, however my guess is
this is only about 15 percent of the planet population.

Berlin is full of Americans, the USA type, there is about
40 percent of them in my Hostel. This is annoying as they talk
too much about MTV Music, and embarrass me.

Americans, British, Australians, and New Zealand, they
seem to be the only ones rich enough to enjoy Europe.

There is also a bunch of super rich from Argentina and Mexico.

So I am living the life of the Rich and Famous MTV fans.
I be Hobo and it takes all my bravery to not run away from
the nonsense, as I like the Barefoot Hobo life.

I am not wandering around Europe that is impossible, I am
getting reservations 100 percent of the time.

Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie - Jewish Memorial

It is really great to listen to the American Travelers here in
Europe, I am very grateful to the good Gods that the most
important thing in their lives is MTV Music, and Movies.
The true X Generation.

If I have a child, I hope they also never have a worry in the world.
It is truly a benefit to not have to worry about where your next
meal is coming from, there must be a correlation statistic
explaining what topics people complain about and the quality of life.
Everyone on the planet complains, I suppose that is what is
annoying when an American complains, for sure it a petty issue.

It must really irritate the Germany or Europeans when the USA
complains, Germany has around a 10 percent unemployment rate,
while the USA is around 5, most of Europe except for England
is over 8.

Me...I am trying my best to revel in laziness, trying to do nothing.
I like to lay around, do nothing, be a Hobo, avoid work as
best I can.

Life is way too good, I am grateful.

I leave for ESTONIA on Wednesday 22nd, June 2005.

What I Pack
Andy of

Packing is a pain, nothing I despise more than having to stuff,
arrange, and hope to stay organized. I fortunately am not crazy and
move locations only every three to ten days, however the normal traveler
is extremely off their rockers and believe travel is about stress.
Therefore they move Hotels or Hostels daily or every two days.

"The Human Doing."
I must do something or I am not ok.

Enjoy travel, you do not need to see everything.
Quality of life not quantity of life.

What I pack is difficult to explain, because almost everything
in my pack has two to three uses, there are many reasons for
everything I pack. I use my hammock for a blanket, at the beach,
for a sleeping bag liner, towel, and many other ways, therefore
it is not a Hammock, it could be a called a blanket.

Some rules of thumb.

1. I never buy something I will not trash easily, if I am in love with it,
then I do not buy it.
2. There is nothing in my backpack that cannot be purchased almost
anywhere on the planet.
3. I carry items to make my life happy.
4. Weight is a small consideration, not a major priority.
5. I pack what I want.
6. IF I need to send things home, then I lose, not the goal.
I have made a major packing blunder.

Do not be anal pack what you want to take with you, then throw
away those things you do not want along the way.

It is not important what you pack, they sell everything where
you are going.

However after saying it is not important, please realize I have
thought about this for eight years and focus on packing every
three to ten days. I have thought about packing, not a little, however
an extreme amount.

I have taken about 200 photos, this is a system, not just items
in the pack, there is a relationship between these items and
it would be possible to make a full length motion picture
with Shakira as the main Actress explaining...

What I pack... hehehe

Notice I did not work on this tip.
Pack your passport and ATM, after that all is luxury.
