How to find MAC Address a unique identifier assigned to network interfaces for communications on the physical network segment.

A Media Access Control address (MAC address) is a unique identifier assigned to network interfaces for communications on the physical network segment. Logically, MAC addresses are used in the Media Access Control protocol sub-layer of the OSI reference model.

To find the MAC address on a Windows computer. (Windows XP, Windows 7)

Click on the Start Menu.

Click on Run

Type 'cmd' without quotes and press Enter.

At the command prompt, type 'ipconfig /all' without quotes.
