I have been telling trying to tell people in corrupt countries for years about the power of a camera or the press, and finally it has arrived.

They do it for fun, and they can change the world.

Not exactly the way I thought it would evolve, but great. I welcome the new press with open arms. I know I cannot trust the present News Medias, they have lost the plot, and they are no longer trustworthy. There is a power in a camera that exposes the truth and is hard to fake, I am sure the people of will soon learn how to fake videos, however these social networks are very harsh and the members can be wildly violent. The one member who fakes a video, can not win against the many. While the big news sources of the World like BBC and CNN are dangerous, they are the Fourth Estate and out of control, they are the many, they are making the news up, and not reporting the true news, more their fantasies to earn money or to be famous.

This is great, the end of hiding your dirty laundry, all if exposed into the light of day.,,2078503,00.html?gusrc=rss&feed=11

An Acronym released an interesting report about e-commerce; this report explains a few winning ways companies make money on the internet. (SIIA)

I was interested to read about as the report has tagged them as the big user generated content site. was the first to benefit greatly from user-generated content, as does I am on, they benefit from user-generated content. I think all of them really, just your point of view is varied.

This means the information on the site is given FREE from the readers. The big controversy generating Blogs do this, they write and provoke comments, then feed them, a way to get emotions to write free on your site.

This is the formula for a web site, you create a system where readers can submit, interact and provide 99 percent of the content free, and the owner of the site does not need to pay the writers.

Then you make money. Google Ad Words, this the kicker here is, until this system was invented the internet was a great way for advertisers to lose money, so in my opinion the year 2000 was the first year of birth of the internet. It started to have functional existence; it provided sustainable meaning starting in year 2000 and was instigated by Thank you

Formula, get the readers to submit, and make money with Ad Words.

There are an annoying number of social networks like and I see no end in sight, I hope the web pages reach some limit on how many of the little icons are on the bottom of pages, I have discovered there is no end to the number of small icons.

Google Ad Words (2000)
User-Generated Content (YouTube 2005)

Closing the deal, I think that is the closing agent for the truly wanna be international company., not a new idea, but the pivotal promoter. has provided a way to call China or Togo cheap, and better yet, it has provided way for China or Togo to call the USA cheap.

The USA is the buyer; China is the manufacturer, not a good trend for the USA, but reality.

There is the secret to internet success wrapped up here, and it is a secret, very few people understand how the internet works. I am in Togo, this information here applies to about 5 percent of the planet, the internet has not even touched the other 95 percent, and the world is your oyster. The internet is just a small little toddler, and trying to say it first word. Children making money.

Andy in Atakpame Togo, boring my mother to tears.

SIIA unveiled its top-ten E-Commerce list.
The Software & Information Industry Association

SIIA’s Top Ten Most Significant eCommerce Developments of the Last 10 Years:

1. Google (Sept. 1998): Google did more to fundamentally change the way we use the Internet than any other event in the last 10 years. The simple search engine that began with a couple of smart guys is now used by 30% of Internet users to help find precisely what we’re looking for online, map our world, create simple yet highly targeted advertisements and much more. Americans conducted 6.9 billion searches online in February 2007 and nearly half of those were on Google

2. Broadband Penetration of US Internet Users Reaches 50% (June 2004): When the Information Superhighway first opened, it felt more like an old dirt road – until broadband released its full potential. Available and affordable broadband took longer than expected to arrive – but when it finally reached 50% penetration in 2004, a milestone was reached that signaled a dramatic change in how commerce gets done online, how consumers use and share content, and how the world communicates. It took broadband roughly 4 years to reach 50% – but it is estimated that it will reach 90% penetration of Internet users by the end of the year.

3. eBay Auctions (Launched Sept. 1997): eBay showed us that the Internet could be used to reach massive national -- and even global -- markets better and faster than ever before. The launch empowered hundreds of thousands of power sellers to quit their day jobs and work exclusively online. Individuals could also compete directly with each other in ways unimaginable in a physical market.

4. (IPO May 1997): Amazon showed the world what an online store would look like and made online shopping popular through its ease of use and wide selection. Amazon’s public offering told the world
that online commerce is legitimate and here to stay. It signaled the increasingly important role that e-commerce would play in the American economy.

5. Google Ad Words (2000) Key word advertising has become the biggest online advertising vehicle, representing 40 percent of that market and $6.8 billion in revenue. Keyword ads are the simplest and most cost-effective mechanism to reach targeted audiences, affordable to even the smallest business.

6. Open Standards (HTML 4.0 released - 1997): The standards for the web embodied in HTML are overseen by the World Wide Web Consortium, which is not controlled by any company or government. The formats are open, well documented and designed to work with different software and hardware. It has probably been the most influential and important data standard in the history of publishing. Open standards can grow an entire industry, leaving more room and more opportunity for everyone.

7. Wi-Fi (802.11 launched - 1997): From desk to board room to beach, connectivity is never lost and communication is never delayed. The development of Wi-Fi removed the limitations of desktops and cables and shifted focus toward mobile solutions. Wireless Internet enabled road warriors to be connected anywhere in industries like real estate, transportation, travel, and financial services.

8. User-Generated Content (YouTube 2005): Right now it is impossible to say what the full ramifications of the “citizen journalist” era will be – but the dramatic impact of YouTube tells us more than any other recent development. At first a playground for kids with video cameras, YouTube is now the embodiment of Web 2.0. It is a must-be-seen place for presidential candidates, a battleground in the copyright wars, a vital distribution point for major media – and most of all, a place where anyone…absolutely anyone…can deliver a message to the world.

9. iTunes (2001): In the aftermath of Napster and the P2P battles, iTunes legitimized the digital music industry, revolutionizing the music industry. The importance of CDs declined while music as digital content grew, leading to developments in everything from Digital Rights Management software to increased bandwidth use. Today, more than US$2 billion worth of music was sold online or through mobile phones in 2006 (trade revenues), almost doubling the market in the last year. Digital sales now account for around 10% of the music market

10. BlackBerry (1999): The BlackBerry makes communication instantaneous, and mobile. A comprehensive communications device creates a new mobile business culture. Giving road warriors the freedom to move to any location and maintain connectivity increases cooperation and efficiency. By having the web in the palm of your hand, Internet connected devices enable ecommerce anywhere, anytime.

YouTube.Com Gossip Me

YouTube.Com Gossip Me
I am a WYSIWYG person… is telling too many people about me, in Thai English they would say …
Why YOU Gossip Me?
Translated to normal English, why is telling everyone what I am interested in, and what I do, why do they talk about me?

They got me… Very good, but also annoying, and Thank You

My Hobo page on - Look at what I subscribe to... Boring.

Do not stereotype me; I think this is silly comment.

Hell, screw it, let me fill out your Profile form and I will do it for you, I will answer all your questions, tell you all my favorite books, movies, books, and what videos I subscribe to and you will know what stereotype I am. Moreover, you can better target your relevant advertising at my profile, a.k.a. stereotype.

My page on is hilarious; I was looking at it,

I am a WYSIWYG person.

This is extremely valuable in person relationships because people trust me… WYSIWYG

Nevertheless, for the casual internet surfer, I can be a terribly annoying person. I would think the people going to look at my videos for the first time would think, what is wrong with them man? I am OFF topic, my profile is crap, I went to your videos, looked at them, and clicked on your subscriptions and they are not about culture… I have people ask me, what are your favorite Travel Journals?

I say,
- I do not read that crap. -
They may say,
- Is your blog crap? -
I say,
- I would never read my blog. -
- I would not recommend my blog to Andy, Me. -
I truly hate to re-read my own post.

However, is invasive, I am on the site as I am typing, trying to figure out how to remove the tell you what I subscribe to crap. This is not good for my internet, travel business, it is off topic, and human. In addition, I want people to stop posting comments, do not send me emails, and they only will get me clicking on some links on their pages to make money. I have a blog to deal with; I do not want another place to deal with comments. I will go look at your videos, and click on a few advertisement.

However, I do NOT want to annoy, my already annoyed readers by also showing them that I subscribed to boring videos about how to make web sites. I put up Culture Videos and I do not subscribe to culture videos. I see culture videos as very boring, real life is great, but to watch this stuff is annoying for me, I live it, why watch it, and 99 percent are posturing, liars, so who wants to watch videos of people lying about cultures. I know, when I click the off button on my video camera, I am editing the culture, I keep it running, the whole culture in one swoop, no edits, not fair for me to interpret what is important. This is the culture WYSIWYG.

Now, I am boring to death my readers by showing them that I read these SEO, search engine optimization videos.

I write off topic blog post all the time, I sometimes dwell on the idea of changing the name of my blog to something like Andy looking at crap, then inaccurately gossiping about it. I really have no desire to find accurate information about some topics. It is impossible to care about all topic I think about, whereby I am 100 percent accurate.

I 100 percent want the readers to correct my post, say, Andy you are wrong, and this is the correct information. Moreover, just correct me, without the lecture. Damn, I have know for 30 years I am not perfect, why do you tell need to tell me, if you are perfect then I will say, Hello God, how are you.

It is funny, there is nothing more stupid than to call me an idiot in the comments section of the blog, or any name. I just click reject and think, this is an angry person, all that time typing and what an idiot, just trying to attack some unknown person on the internet.

The sometime regulars post anonymous… too funny.

NOTE: Thank you you tube, thank you very much for hosting them videos, this is a great service and I do not care what you do, invade my life, take my information, gossip me, it is worth the trade.

Oh what the hell, gossip, just spell correct, one L, and if not, that is ok, I own also... hehehe.

Videos Uploading make me Angry

Philippines - Southeast Asia

Andy of ---

A person has to throw things at the wall, if you keep throwing things at the wall, I guarantee something will stick and one day you know what you can throw that will always work.

Videos, what a mess, I have thrown 17 videos onto the wall called,, and then they threw one back. They rejected one for being too long, and this was not a good day.

This was rejected, but it is up now, not on though.
Burkina Faso Carrying Water Video

80 plus Megs of upload, a long time of waiting for a good connection and rejected it, I thought the limit was 100 Megs; I do not have time to do this crap. I must succeed, I cannot have failure, I am not in Kansas, I am in the Philippine and this video was delayed two months because of slow connections in West Africa. Then rejected…

I took that video as a favor for the University Professors who research drinking water and cultures. It was a 10-minute long video, no cuts, no changes, nothing trying to change reality to fit me or my brain. The truth un-edited about how people in one place on the planet collect water and carry to their homes.

Therefore, when the truth gets rejected, not a good day for me.

I called Mom today on and asked her if she watched the videos and what she watched, etc, I have put up 17 or more now. The truth is this, my most diligent, consistent reader, the one that stops me from explaining the un-sanitized versions of countries, has not seen any of the videos….aaagh.

She was semi-clueless but these two links worked, and did not. I now have to back up, reverse a course of action on my web site, and see it I can fix 17 other blog posts, whereby my mother can read.

This is and was a great experiment for me; I do not like to make difficult pages for my readers.

My mother is not stupid; I would say I am stupid, if I am the wiz kid, smart on the computer person, I should be smart enough to give my mother something she can view. It is faulty thinking to think my readers should know how to use a computer to view or read. I do not want to test people for computer skills, I just want to give them some videos and allow them to share the experience.

These links work:

These do not work. All the videos I spent hours of making Mom and Dad could not see.

There is a travel moral here, I do not try to travel to Bangkok, I travel to Bangkok. Very seldom, do I turn back, I have no choice, and I have to make it. Highly ineffective people try to show people the world, I do not care about trying, I am going to do it, and my Mom and Dad are great experiments in how to make a Travel Site.

You will not get a person to write and email saying to you, hmmm. I was too stupid to know how to open that link. We need to learn from the people who do not offer advice, my Mother and Father are brilliant, the machine is just an older version. I am the newer machine, same builders, same model, just younger. does not work for Mom
