There is no good reason to sunbath on Haad Rin Beach on Koh Phangan Island in Thailand, the beach is dead.
I first came to Haad Rin beach on Koh Phagnan, Island 10 years ago, it was one of the best girl watching, sunbathing beaches on the planet. Now, in 2012, the beach is a has-been, the waves have came in and cut the beach in half, there is almost no dry sand area left, it is finished.
Say goodbye to Haad Rin!

This photo was taken on Haad Rin beach 10 years ago in 2002. It was paradise, and the depth or width of the beach was twice as wide as in 2012.

The sands of a beach come and go, you can never guarantee the beach you loved will be there when you return. Or it is possible, as happened in Sosua, Dominican Republic, there could be a new beach, it goes both ways.

(I move here because they have a good swimming pool.)
Interesting contrast, although its far from the prettiest beach in the world, it is usually full of pretty girls, but only around the time of the full moon, I was there twice in the last few months at that time and you couldnt swing a cat on it
