IT means nothing to me, Web Developer means nothing to me, just noise.

I wanted the young and dizzy coders, web developers to learn to articulate, to explain in great detail, the specific skills they have to find work.

The job of the boss, the founder, the CEO, and all the other words is to steer the ship. As the captain, my job is to choose people for different jobs. And, I need crew to work on the ship, and not another person who thinks he, or she is the captain. A team has specific people, with specific jobs, and Web Developer and IT means they are not an expert.

For example, on websites, almost all of “Web Developers” think they can do SEO, Search Engine Optimization and I have only known two people in 30 years, Steve Noton, and Andy Lee Graham who made money owning a website, and it was because we are good at SEO. 1 in 10,000 people live from the money earned from a website.

What a person wants to do, and what they are good at is often radically different. When we get a person that loves something, and is an expert, then we are in the groove, life is good, we have a person that loves their work.

If I was to hire a person to make games for the phone, I would expect the person to use the game, test it, and find all the problems.

If I was to hire a mechanic to overhaul the motor in my car, I would expect him to drive the car, use the car, test it, etc.

When I hire a proofreader to check my books for grammar, and spelling problems. I will ask them,
“Explain the pros, and cons of the book.”

I expect them to read the book.

There is a product, and we hire people to work on the product.

We need specialists for websites, or a team of specialists. One person cannot be an expert at all jobs. The only person that must understand a little of every aspect of a business, is the owner of the company, a person who starts a business. And, he, or she must be smart to choose experts with integrity, who can explain something more intelligent than an IT worker, or Web Developer.

So when we hire a freelancer to work on the HoboTraveler Social Network, they should love it, use it, test it, and find the problem more than any of the members.

We are a travel website. I was quite upset that a member, a freelancer, went on vacation, and still refused to test the product. The social network is the product.

When a freelancers, a coder, a web developer does not use what they make, they are too stupid to work for HoboTraveler Inc.

The ideal worker for your website is going to want to manage it, tweak it, and be a partner with you in the website.

A person who works for a short people of time, tries to make the client happy, collect their money is the definition of a prostitute.

Life is good when a worker uses the product they make.
