The boy in the band, the expats hanging around talking, doing what they do best, talk, were asking this question.

How many, but there is the better question, why don’t more people come to Iquitos, Peru?

Maybe the question is,
“What is in Iquitos?”

Backpack Survey Has Some Responses

Backpack Survey Has Some Responses
I sent out a backpack survey, there are some responses; it took me a couple days to figure out this Google Docs system. I made a new page online where you can continue to fill out the survey.

The previous responses are at the bottom of the page, and you make need to wait as Google.com inserts these responses.

Thanks for helping on this Backpack Questionnaire.

I hope this person means the level is up, hehehe, I would infer he or she means I am in my element so yes.
“Thank You.”

Whatever this means, I am never sure, however an attaboy on writing is better than the normal,
“You do not spell right, you cannot write, you’re a jerk.”

In my element hits me as questionable, I think I am in the least amount of stress, I am optimizing my life well for the last couple of months. There is a black and white, on, off, 1 or 0 mentalities to the world. I got up in front of some friends and jumps around saying,

“Who cares if the place is great, I want to make my life optimized, I want happiness or enjoyment of the day perfect.”

Prior to this comment, I was pointing out how to improve on the Hotel Posada Don Carlos in Panajachel, Guatemala. Perfection is in the detail and the distance between great and ok is normally just a few small adjustments. I think I dwell on perfections; I like to have a good pure, clean, perfect thought, and optimized view of life.

The questionable part is this, when I write about some countries, I have readers who like that region of the world suddenly read more post, while the ones that do not slack down. Therefore, it is possible I am the element now of the person, not my element.

I need to make a few calls at the line of scrimmage here, mostly light bulbs, the air conditioner was freezing my feet, however the disign at base level starting point is high.

A loud of noise at night from the bar next-door is high, I must use the Air Conditioning because of the noise and there is no screen. What is up with the screens on the planet? Malaria is the first words out of anybodies mouths when they talk about Amazon River.

The place is great, modern room and I have 5 times the number closets than normal. I am not sure how to position this fridge, I am using the closet for security, not a good place for fridge. I will move it or figure out a better security box. When I figure out the how to cooking part it will be a go, I think I can use the alcohol stove to cook vegetables.

Many small adjustments, but I am in a great room, I will concentrate on getting proper lighting in the room. I am laughing, when I put a big enough light bulb in the restroom to take off dim level, I will actually be able to see my face in the mirror. It is weird how few rooms even have mirrors, then stranger yet, not a light. This one is big, with a light directly above, the bulb is baby size, when I make it grow up, and I will be able to see myself for change.

I will convince Bill the owner to either make a good landing site on his internt page, so I can help share the room, a page where the link will not move, or get him to make one on HoboHideOut.com so I help Bill get more renters. I like to point links at specific no surf, no search pages, so readers are not lost.

I know of only a couple more Hotel rooms actually located on the Amazon River, the one I would love to stay in, because it is close or in the Belen Market Area, I like to be close to the market for food, yet pretty dodgy in that area.

Guatemala WIFI Easy Country

Guatemala WIFI Easy Country
This country has really developed. I am the new Guatemala City airport and there is free Internet with Wireless WIFI.

Here in No Mans Land is nice, too much light, a little hot, however life is good.

Guatemala is probably the first country I have ever entered where I never went to an Internet Café; I had Wireless Internet Access, WIFI in all room.

Inalabrico is the name in Spanish for Wireless.

Thanks Guatemala for being an advanced country with all the toys, this country is a go. Unfortunately, full of tourist with no experience in Travel so listening to conversations can be painful.

I think I averaged about 12 U.S. per night for rooms, a great starter country for a person who wants to take the slow entry path into long-term travel, I am not sure I will ever return.

I am sitting here looking out the window in the Casa Shalom in Antigua, the shuttle is coming to take me to the Airport, it is 8:3o, the plane is to come at 8:30, however one half hour is always normal in the Latino world. The cost porthole to porthole from Guate to Iquitos is about 42o USA with all taxes on Spiritair.com, hope the bags are not too heavy.

I am learning about the Google.com Docs, now I see I should have included in the last email posted about the Backpack Survey. The results will be a the bottom of ths page when someone submits.

I wish to make the ideal or close to perfect backpack, I am going to call it the Windmill Bag because my friend Gary says I am chasing Windmills like Don Quijote.

I hope this works, it is a Google.com Docs form, I am hoping it fits, however I suppose I can move if a problem.

Please fill out honestly, note I could care less that you love your bag, I to know feature or specfic parts you love or hate, I want to know the problems, a person has to know the problems before the solutions are designed into the bag.

If you cannot view this form properly, you can fill it out here:
