HOBO photo

There are a couple of pictures of me in the group below. But... hehehe?

I learned how to wrap a scarf around my head in one and another with the Scholars.

Alway wanted to know how they did that scarf thing.

INVITATIONS TO BAGHDAD

I was sitting at breakfast. Included with the Hotel.

A person gives me his business card and invited me to stay with him in Baghdad.

I am walking back to my room. The neighboring room ask me where I am from,

He invites me to come to Baghdad to visit him.

This is becoming a pattern. The hospitality here is great.

DISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH

Saddam distributed the Oil wealth by making 40 percent of the people work for his military and security.

I keep thinking. Charity just makes people turn into beggars.

Maybe best to make free

Electricity.

University

Roads

Internet

Water

Large Police force.

It will be a class society of the very rich and the very poor if the wealth is not distributed equally.

Fairness is not a normal concept in developing country. They do not see that often.

NATASHA on my spelling. There is hope for me.

"It is a damn poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell any word."

-Andrew Jackson

I sometimes get myself so confused I have 4-5 ways to spell a word.

Erbil is killing me. Erbil Arbil Irbil Erbal Arbal Irbal etc.

I WOULD SAY THAT KURDISTAN IS SAFE FOR BACKPACKERS

Kurdistan poses very little problem. It is probably as safe as any developing country.

Beware though, the country has very high standards for living, but the evolution of the social structure is still low.

They operate on some strong religious and cultural taboos. It may appear they do not care. But they do.

I would say that Mosul is still for only the most season traveler, but soon OK.

Women should probably not come alone.

WHAT MOM HAS TO SAY ON ME... Calls me a clown...What do you think?

My mother is not an honest critic. She is extremely biased.

She wrote:

I been thinking Andy that life is really like a circus. some

people just see the tents and walk past, never knowing what wonders reside

within, and of course some people dare to go in and join the circus of life,

you are one of those people so far as I am concerned. SOMETIMES, you even seem

like the clown, Women dressed like casper the ghost, we had to laugh.

It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer

What I am listening to in the internet cafe in Erbil, IRAQ

There's a calm surrender to the rush of day

When the heat of a rolling wind can be turned away

An enchanted moment, and it sees me through

It's enough for this restless warrior just to be with you

And can you feel the love tonight

It is where we are

It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer

That we got this far

And can you feel the love tonight

How it's laid to rest

It's enough to make kings and vagabonds

Believe the very best

There's a time for everyone if they only learn

That the twisting kaleidoscope moves us all in turn

There's a rhyme and reason to the wild outdoors

When the heart of this star-crossed voyager beats in time with yours

And can you feel the love tonight

It is where we are

It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer

That we got this far

And can you feel the love tonight

How it's laid to rest

It's enough to make kings and vagabonds

Believe the very best

It's enough to make kings and vagabonds

Believe the very best

Can You Feel The Love Tonight Lyrics

Elton John
