Sounds We Try to Ignore

Sounds We Try to Ignore
Chickens are ok compared to the sounds of death, someone has died or is dying and a woman from the Yaminawa tribe is pushing out sounds of death, these sounds awoke me this morning.

A low wailing sound that resonate into the darkness of early morning, now two people have started crying as I am writing I feel certain a person has died. Now there are three people singing the death dirge here in the village of Breu, Peru, the family is joined the others as they should in the responsibility of morning the loss of life.

The volume is increasing, nothing is clear here, we try to ignore these sounds, however they cannot be ignores. Someone down below has awoken next to a dead body.

My neighbor came out of his room prepared to bath in the community shower; he explains to me they will sing these sounds of death all day today. My room is within 100 feet of this building, it is a sad sound.

What appears natural to me is the village will go on with its life, however, there will be one or two families of the Yaminawas tribe today that will cry away at the walls of their house, trying to stop their sadness, and eventually they will tire and accept that a life has ended.

This is not a good day; it is a sad day here, life is important. I wish to understand how people live from the day they are born to the day they die, I know I am the same, one day I will die, we will try to ignore the sounds of death today, but because of these sounds I will never forget this day, I will remember that someone died today in Brue, Peru.
