hiya, im looking for any volunteer work with as least political involvement as possible.i was born in cuba and would love to be able to volunteer there as i have in other countries but all of the organizations that i have found are ran through the government as would be expected in a communist country and i cant find any others. if anyone has any information please let me know. thank you!!

I am trying to develop my Spanish abilities further, and I would love to offer my services abroad in order to immerse myself in a Spanish-Speaking culture. I am planning to take some time off work at the end of August of 2009. I have visited Cuba in the past and therefore would like to return and at this time would also like to volunteer. Hi there.

Ill be taking a gap year next year and Id really like to travel to Cuba. Im a 19 year old fit girl and what Id like to do most is construction work. Ive done work with Habitat and am not disinclined to physical labour. Of course Id love to do anything else too: teaching children,farming etc.

Being a student I dont have a lot of cash to spend. So something low budget would be great. Im willing to work for bed and food, like a farmstay. and Im good with kids :)

I^m currently living in Mexico for 10 months teaching English while learning Spanish, as I study spanish at university in England. I have a months holiday starting today and desperately want to go to Cuba! I would like to do any kinda of volunteering project, but I am interested in working with children or animals if there was a possibility...but anything that doesnt cost lots!

Hi, I am 32 years old and finishing my education degree. I went to Cuba with friends and fell in love with Cuba and its oppressed people. I want to go back so badly but I really want to go back in a volunteer capacity instead of sitting by the pool. I think of Cuba everyday and have so much compassion for the people. I would love to find something as early as May but unfortunately I have to be back to Canada for the middle of June to finish the last 3 courses of my degree. I have enough aeroplan points to buy a round trip ticket. Please contact me.

All positions are unpaid, but in exchange you will gain the experience of learning about Cuban culture as an insider, while sharing your own culture and language. You may combine this program with a Spanish language course, if necessary, before starting your teach program.

The Teach English,French or German in Cuba Program places you at Oriente University.

Some of your typical duties may include:
