Thank you for your helpful advice. I have been hooked on traveling ever since taking a 2.5 month trip last year across Colombia, Peru and Panama. I only wish I had discovered the value of your sight sooner.
I plan to upload a local hotel here in Fairhope, Alabama before going on the road again and exchanging web pages for a room - all this with the help of a man named Andy, the man from Guatamala - today that is - and tomorrow the man from ??? Where will you be from next?

Amen brother! Couldn't agree more.
They loved us during the Cold War and WWII but now view us as the aggressor. They do not understand U.S. policy of squelching small fires before they become large fires. You think they would have learned after having suffered through two world wars.
I just love the question of "Do we have the right to tell Iran whether or not they can have a nuclear bomb." Wrong question! Rather, "Can we risk allowing Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon." Answer: Of course not.
Oh well.

I often get in trouble for telling the truth. A German acquaintance one said "Why wouldn't someone be direct and truthful that is the most efficient manner with which to communicate." I wish most Americans felt this way.
I have learned to say "that is interesting" as a replacement for something that might be offensive. The word "interesting" is just blowing smoke and allows the individual to save face for the word "interesting" can mean many things.
