i found this the same as the above and i gotta say you sir are an idiot
i have had dreads nearly 20 years they are beyond my toes now
the toothpaste kids was a fashion seeking fool who was tricked by many lies spread around the net
natural dreads dread best when kept cleaner then straight hair (no residue causing products)
they have been around as long as man has been on earthg
most religions in fact demand you dread, including christianity buddhism judaism hindu..almost all
wether you dread for religios or other reasons drewads are a beautiful carefree way to feel free from vanity
just look how you judge all people with dreads..judgment based only on looks
now as for rastafarians most are extremely respectful..some do act superior (like christians dont do that too?)
they are generaly very kind very freindly and easy to get along with if you trweat them with respect
not all rastas are black either..rastafarianism in most forms preaches colorblindness.. the cfolor of a mans eyes should matter more then the color of his skin..
they are strong believesrs in peace and love..far more then the average judgmebntal christians
rastafarianism is in fact a christian belief based on the bible
the bible has several passages commanding you to wear your hair in locks, never to touch comb or blade to your hair
aside from religion though..dreads are beautiful.. they seperate the shallow who are so scared to have a non conformist image they all dress and act alike from those who are far more open minded and accepting
those who are not shallow tend to find dreads extreemely beautiful and attractive.. and it has the added bonus of repelling close minded shallow assholes like you
