Hi Andy,
I just got back from a 2 week trip to thailand. I went with my thai wife who hasnt been home in 8 years. I had never been to thailand. I read your newsletter and blog daily for months before leaving and found a lot of the info most helpful. The best thing I liked about Thailand was staying with the relatives and living like a thai. I did do a few falang tour things just to see the famous sites but with family so we traveled without guides or tour groups. Thanks for the info I attained on your sites. I spent maybe an hour on Kao san rd but that was enough for me. Take care and keep up the good work. Oh btw I went to Bangkok, Chaing mai, Chaing Rai, Mayanmar and Ko Samet.
