Andy, I guess you know Thailand pretty well. Do you have an established routine that you have while in Thailand? I teach in Oman and have taught in Colombia. What sort of hotels do you really recommend for me? I need exactly what you have, a one room with A/C that is relatively quiet. If you have to time to answer that it would really save me a lot of sweat.

Dear Andy, you say that people who are There and not here cannot comment on a given place. That is true. I would like to add a comment to this soup mix travelers are neither here nor There They travel and see and maybe become an expert on what a hotel room looks like, but they have no real clue as to how a culture in the collective minds of people operate.
