Breaks my heart to think people really live this way. I am positive some people would say it is good to grow up with what is called street smarts that it will make these kids strong. BUT my heart longs for children to be children in all ways and to enjoy the sunshine, trees, birds and all the gifts of life we have that has been bestowed on us. I think of my kids playing in a tree house they made, enjoying a game of ball, reading, catching turtles and having a good time on a picnic with a peanut butter sandwich with their dad and mom pushing them on a swing and catching them at the bottom of a slide. This is what a child needs to do to learn how to love and be loved, not these these really sad circumstances.

Andy, I tell you that hotdog thing is called a Brat in the USA and is a lot like sausage. They can call it anything they want where you are but I would be willing to bet it is seasoned like a brat just like Chubbies makes and sells here in your hometown. They just became very popular to eat cooked on the grill for breakfast, dinner and supper in our little village. Trust me, it is a good old USA Brat.

Sorry to say Andy but all countries mostly likely the same. Say one thing mean another. Trust me, I just got off the phone with 2 really nice ladies who take care of our kind of health insurance. I have a bill for your dad in one hand and a statement from in the insurance in the other hand. It says call this number if you need help with your claim, same number on both forms. I call and the lady answering says I have called incorrect number. I explain this is number on my form. Answer is we make lots of mistakes on forms so please call a different number. She gives it to me and tells me they will answer same questions just a different phone number. OK, I do and they ask if I called other number and of course I say yes. The lady says OK I will answer your question anyway since you have me on phone. She says we always pay a $20.00 co pay but this time we will pay a $12.50 co pay. I want to know why. She says do not worry about it as it will be fine. After a lot more silly stuff I give up and hope they send me a new insurance card with your dads name spelled correctly even if the lady says it does not matter but they will send a new one. They said this 3 months ago. OH WELL, that is life so relax and enjoy it.

Mom, I am not sure but I think those are cobblestone streets in front of the church, very interesting. Wonder if it is possible to drive there or is it off limits to cars. The bushes or weeds that seems to be growing out of the wonderfully really weathered looking buildings would drive your dad crazy but I think kinda charming in a old fashioned way. Those electrical wires though, such a lot of them. Makes me think of when you talked about people stealing electricity in other countries from wires like those. All in all, it seems like a quiet serene place for a traveler to catch their breath and slow down a bit. More of this needed in our world today.

Bunch Of Bolna, If this king can make rain it is not because he is God. If and I say If very loosely,it is true he has a lot of people working for him that are very intelligent researchers or the King himself has researched the science to do this BUT I still feel he had lots of help and buckets of money to fund the project. If it is true he better start marketing it because he will make his country very rich. Have not seen it on CNN yet and all sorts of truths and half truths and outright lies make it there. I think this may be like the story of the Emperor's New Clothes.
