Andy, Obit is a Noun which means "A notice of someone's death; usually includes a short biography"...
I think the latter meaning is closer to what mr. anonymous meant.
You know what i find amazing.... that you constantly seek the unnoticeable. I mean, you seem to have an eye for things that are important to enrich your knowledge bank through the language of humaneness and at the same time, I think itrs something that most people would be indifferent towards. There is a specific kind of heart to the basic conversations that are so insightful. Your newsletter is like a window. a yellow coloured one at that.

its not about wanna be writers ... as midnight sojourner said, its what you make of it. it doesnt even necessarily have to be words (hence the option of wanna be writers is out of question) it can be expessed in pictures.... it can be some queer thought that takes central stage in your head.
You travel a lot, and you have varied expreineces and through your words, you take the people who read your blogs to places that we possibily (atleast I) as of now cant be in but would like to know about them. its a window to a world that I cant be a part of and your writing reflects what you see/feel and its very basic, in a very human tone ... without any editing which makes it more real and less virtual in some ways, which is rather nice.
so not everyone out there is a wanna be writer.

I can see the world through someone else's eyes...err.. maybe words would be more apt.
being in a new country everytime and meeting gazillions of people from different races, getting to know their culture, getting a taste of it, it all must be a lot of fun?

How amazing to travel round the world, your blog is gonna be bookmarked. I read your previous posts about India - the thing is, generally I think people from other nations come in and look up what they have read about (for obvious reasons) but sometimes the beauty of a place also lies in the less acclaimed places, the knowledge of which one can get only through a native of the place.
For a change got to read the view point of a foreigner about my own country and that made for an intresting read.
