I am currently conducting a survey of malnutritioned and starving tea workers on plantations in northeastern India.

We are systematically finding out exactly how much food (1.5 kg rice, .5 kg potato, etc.) each family ate in the last 24 hours, and then plan on calculating caloric intake, counting children as half an adult for the formula. As we are still collecting data, I do not yet have the formula, so let me know what you find and vice-versa.
We are also looking at BMI (Body Mass Index) to prove malnutrition.
