Now it makes sense, all the talk about being, feeling and looking old. The old guy in the mirror. In the mirror of our mind's eye, we are all 25, so of course we are shocked when we catch a real glimpse.
Like they say, "It's hell getting old but it's better than the alternative".

Excellent set of videos! To the viewer, it puts us right there where the flooding was. Talk about up close and personal. Just a great job, well done and better video than on the tv news.

Andy, I know that you have probably already considered it (and I hope you don't bite my head off, heehee). But, why not see a specialist in the US when you visit your family. It's only money and I can't believe I'm saying that because I'm FRUGAL. It's just that quality of life counts for something and I believe your pain is effecting your quality of life.
Maybe they could remove the cyst and biopsy it and find out something. It doesn't have to take very long. That said, I do find your writings on the medical system in other countries interesting to read.

Andy, I had pain in my spine from nerve pressure. A Physical Therapist I worked with showed me how to use the door frame or any door opening to stretch my spine to help relieve the pressure. After a week of this stretching my pain was much relieved.

Andy, your recent writings have been so much deeper and profound. I have noticed your crankiness and negativity of late which I attributed to your back pain and unsatisfactory contact with the locals in your recent travels.
I admit that I have had nagging questions about you, a single man and frequent visitor to Thailand and Phillipines. I am happy that you are being more transparent with your long term relationship, it will help develop our understanding of you as a person. Your frankness and honestly shines through.

Andy, I'm sorry that it has come to you cutting off the RSS feeds. That's pretty drastic but hey, it's your right absolutely.
I can't help agreeing with Rob that there must be a way to have both RSS feeds with snippits (requiring the reader to click through to your site) and email newletters for those who want it that way.
I have your blog bookmarked in favorites and visit it daily to read your very enjoyable musings.

Font style and size not as pleasing. Font & size on post a comment page very nice. White background and red stripes too harsh.
