I don't know if I am a misanthropist. I do know that, mostly, there are people that will stand by while the lynching party is doing its job and there are people getting lynched.

And then there are the scared folks that don't want anyone to get lynched but want to make sure that, most of all, they don't get lynched.

Those people that are too busy for you, they're the ones you can pick out in a crowd of well-wishers or a lynch mob.
People like a show.

Is that misanthropic?
