Balck people in Haiti come surely mostly from west africa. Why?
Simple: everybody knows the famous voodoo-culture in Haiti.
Voodo or regional called juju comes from westafrica. The center is the region in todays Bénin. But juju is common all over westafrica.

I knew a man who ate 2 kg of bananas a DAY! Mind you, he ate almost nothing else, and said he needed so many bananas for the potassium in them to stop him getting cramps as he was a keen cyclist & had just cycled from Ireland to Jena in eastern Germany at the time.
