Looks really nice... but a hobo could only dream of such a place.

You are the reason the world gives American travellers grief. You are too full on. You over-engineer everything, try too hard and make a scene everywhere you go. I know not all Americans do this but it seems much more prevalent among them. To highlight my point you have a bright red bag and a padlock that looks like it came off a bank vault. You will no doubt immediately disagree with this but you may appreciate an outside perspective from someone who has travelled a fair bit and met many travelling Americans. I'm not saying I find Americans to be unpleasant, it's just they have a certain character you don't seem to find anywhere else in the world and that a lot of people aren't used to.

I agree. I work in a production facility. Three examples. One, I tell a very beautiful vietnamese lady that I am not attracted to asian women. She had been hinting that I was making eyes at her and I thought this truth would help. NOT. She put me through hell for two years. Tried to accuse me of sexual harassment. etc. etc. Two, another cambodian woman I made the mistake of telling her boss that she was not working but spending inordinate amounts of time gossiping and talking. Same treatment as before. Three a man named Sin Seng a cambodian man. A new member of out technical team he did not know how to do procedures right. Equipment was getting damaged so I gave him a list of tools to purchase to do them right. Next he wanted to do paperwork when he wanted to which was not very much. This left others with the task. Trying to move him to do this I had to go all the way to managment to make him do it. The next week four of my tools are stolen which I have had for 22 years, never been stolen before. After about two months three more items are stolen, like he doesn't want to let it be. These people are exactly disfunctional and victims of there cultural "saving face" pride thing.
