I have not been to Morocco in a few years, but I would think yes it would be possible, especially in the bigger cities.
Speed is always a question, you need to get on expat forums in Morocco or get on the Lonely Planet Thorntree and ask this question to be sure.
I think the Cat could cause bigger problems.
The Internet connection should not cost more than 50 Euro per months, that is the highest normal prices.
To get WIFI in the room a Hotel can be hard.
It would be very hard to search in Arabic for the word wireless.
Best is to get on the Lonely Planet Thorntree

I (and my cat) would like to stay in Morocco for 6 months, starting in April 2009. I need a continuous Internet connection for my job. I cant afford to spend more than ¤200 per month. Any chances in that country?
