When a person travels the world there are times when it is good to store your backpack or luggage for a day or even weeks then return later. Some hostels provide this service for free and sometime you have to pay, in Europe there are often lockers in the train station.

There are time when you enter a city, get off a bus, or leave the train that a Hobo wants to store his or here backpack in a place so they can go look for a Hotel or sometime just browse around the city and see the tourist attractions, then pop back on the train for the next city.
