Sciatica is a result of structural and often imbalance bones, if your gait or walk is improper you may be causing yourself problems. Here are some videos on how to walk.

I broke my femur 30 years ago, the muscles in my left leg do not function properly, I have now developed sciatica.

  1. Heel of your foot is first to touch the floor.
  2. Lock your knee joint.
  3. Roll on you foot.
  4. Swing your arms
  5. Look up or ahead, do not look down it will cause your back to hunch.
  6. Find flat ground or flat surfaces to walk for an hour, keep looking up.

DO NOT

  1. Walk with wide stance, your gait should almost be a straight line
