Searching for Experts to Solve my Problems of Life
I have trouble paying attention to experts, I just want them to solve my problems. I am getting old, at age 56, my mind has becomes lazy.
“A leader must have the courage to act against an expert's advice.”
- James Callaghan
“An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made, in a narrow field.”
- Niels Bohr
My List of Need for Experts
I am alway sad to hear anyone degrade, denigrate or disrepect people who have done way above average at something. People who obviously have done more than others. If nothing else, I wish to champion my Mother and Father for working hard all their lives and raising five healthy, happy, and normal children who all have families. I am a lucky person, my parents were experts at raising children, plus at know how to love. They will have been married 60 years in 2012, and know how to finish something they start, they are experts.
I started to think about this expert thing, it is amazing to me, how easy to get people who live abroad angry. There is an overabundance of guilt in this group, and low self-esteem.
I can say,
"I am a travel writers."
That can get tons of them angry.
Amazingly, I can shake their hand, say,
"Hello, my name is Andy Graham."
That will get 50 percent of them frustrated and angry, I do it anyway, on that one I enjoy seeing the rage.
--- See they are hiding here, they do not want the world to know they are who they are, and what they did, I call this "Toxic Shame," growing at epidemic levels in the developed countries.
I am Looking for Experts:
I get fat easy, I am always searching for an expert to show me how lose weight easy, I want to eat all I want and never gain weight --- (I think about liposuction occasionally.)
I have Sciatica, I am always searching for Doctors who are specialist, a.k.a. Experts. (Example: Dr. George Best.)
I used to buy, sell, and manage an incredible amount of Real Estate, (I like to listen to Sales Tape while walking on the treadmill at the gym.)
I want to learn travel tips, like how to find a hotel room blazingly quick. (I find I am talking to myself.)
I have been sober 24.10 years, and always looking for insightful smart people, but the experts normally are deluded. (MyThinkingProblem.com)
Who is an Expert?
Sounds like an expert:
Talks like an expert:
Dresses like an expert:
Has a label, a degree, or a paper.
Published a book.
I have had the great opportunity in my life to have the time and motivation to study a few things to a level or mastery, whereby I feel myself an expert.
However, the taxing thing about being really good at something is you can never tell anyone, it is only when the define you as one, that you become one. Which begets the problem, how to help the idiots around me?
It is a catch 22, if I tell them I am an expert, they do not listen, if they do not label me an expert, I cannot help...
Fun stuff in a way, and I am thinking i am just going to say,
"Please give me 50 USD, if you wish to continue to talk."
I do not dress, wear my hair, or walk in a prentious way, I am expert at marketing and the placebo stuff just does not work.
However, alway understand, I am in Sosua, a it house of low reputation, a bunch of men here to buy girls, they are up to no good, and not the best of people, but like John Steinbeck in Cannery Row said,
"Some would see Saints."
An expert also called cognoscente, is someone widely recognized as a reliable source of technique or skill whose faculty for judging or deciding rightly, justly, or wisely is accorded authority and status by their peers or the public in a specific well-distinguished domain. An expert, more generally, is a person with extensive knowledge or ability based on research, experience, or occupation and in a particular area of study. Experts are called in for advice on their respective subject, but they do not always agree on the particulars of a field of study. An expert can be, by virtue of credential, training, education, profession, publication or experience, believed to have special knowledge of a subject beyond that of the average person, sufficient that others may officially (and legally) rely upon the individual's opinion. Historically, an expert was referred to as a sage (Sophos). The individual was usually a profound thinker distinguished for wisdom and sound judgment.
