STRATEGIES TO PROTECT YOUR HOTEL ROOM FROM THEFT

Note that I do not believe in allowing a manager of a Hotel or owner to store or have the key to my room or being able to share in access. I do not believe they are qualified, and it is better to never trust. All these idea are on the premise of you having complete control. These concepts are also on the premise that it is dangerous to walk around with your money on you in a money belt except when in transport.

  1. Lock the room by putting your own lock on the door.
  2. Lock your valuable in shower.
  3. Lock your valuables in closet.
  4. Place eyelet screws on the door so you can lock the door.
  5. Buy a steel mesh backpack protector and lock to the furniture in the room.
  6. Not have anything to steal.
  7. Place a wedge under the door from the outside and pull.
  8. Place your valuable in a locker with your own lock.
  9. Place your valuables in a storage room and place your own lock.
  10. Do not leave the room.

NOT GOOD BUT I NEED TO USE SOMETIMES

  1. Mess up the covers and place valuable under the covers.
  2. Hide valuable in toilet or under toilet.
  3. Place valuables outside the room under a pot or in the garden.
  4. Carry all my valuables on my body when I leave the room.
