I am extremely interested in judiasm.i like everything about the jews.starting from the leaders like moses and abraham to their brave fight with the romans.and i also like to read about torah, talmud kaballah.but the problem is that place where i live i.e in bangalore (a city in the south of india) i dont get enough books about judaism.i believe in my city i have the largest collection of books about judaism.to give an example i bought a book called "facts about israel" one month back of 1977th edition. I hope u understood how rare Jewish books are in India. And even the big and famous books stalls in India don’t keep enough collection about the Judaism. In India not many people are interested in reading about Judaism like I do. I am fascinated by a religion, which is very rare in India, and very less people are interested in reading about it. I want to learn Hebrew, I want to have Jewish friends and discuss about Judaism with them but their r very few Jews in India and I never got a chance of interacting with any Jew in India. Although I have Jewish friends in internet but still discussing it person to person is easier than searching for someone on the net and then straight away asking them questions. And the funny thing is sometimes I would know more about the Jewish history than that person. I want to know more about Jewish history, Talmud and everything. Although I have read books like history of Jews by Paul Johnson, Jews god and history by Max I Dimont ,and some other books about Jewish mystism thats all I could find in my city. But that’s not enough I want to know everything in detail to enrich my knowledge further and also discuss about it with Jewish friends.
I am doing electronics and communication engineering here in Bangalore and am in third year.inspite of tight schedule I some how find time to read about Judaism. My other interest is designing aircrafts designing, avionics and radar systems. I am usually very busy when my college goes on but when exams get over I get one month leave which I devote fully into aircrafts and Judaism. Being a Hindu I also read about my own religious books on Hinduism like Vedanta. I greatly appreciate writers like Paul Johnson and Max I Dimont who have portrayed Judaism so well in English language. I have a dream of traveling to Israel and feel the culture of Jews, I would like to go to synagogue, follow Sabbath, eat food prepared in kosher way but I never got a chance to do these here. Here in India synagogues are very few and are basically in mumbai, cochin,kolkata and few northeastern cities. I hope you could recommend me some books about learning Hebrew and also Talmud and torah. or u can help me making friends with whom I can discuss Judaism...

I have become very interested in Israel in the past few weeks, and want to express my heartfelt support to all Israelis dealing with the current political situation. Don\'t believe everything you hear in the news - there are many of us in the west who are completely behind you and know that Israel will prevail over the hatred being directed at her.

I am just starting to study Hebrew, and have found it a very interesting language so far. Hopefully I will be able to travel to Israel sometime in the next few years.

My interests are travel, languages, vegetarian food, gardening, reading, movies and music (many different styles). I like to make costumes, usually fantasy or science fiction. Above all I love learning and creating.
