I have a one cup water heater.
I can plug it into 110 or 220
electricity. It can be used in any country.
It will heat a cup of water in about
2 minutes. I think it is faster than a
a microwave. And much smaller.
You can make:
Coffee,
Tea,
Soup
Boiled eggs
Lots of things.
You also can
Purify water.
Make hot water to clean clothes.
It is NOT just a cup.
You can also boil a bucket very quickly of
water.

Be careful when using around metal.
A metal pot or metal cup will or could
cause a problem.
I would call this one of the few things
I would always carry with me anywhere I
go. It normally cost less than 3 dollars.
They sell a very fancy one here in Thailand
for about 8 dollars. In South America they
cost about 2 dollars, or less.
You can also buy a 12 volt one.
