I am currently in Pucallpa (January 9, 2010)and will arrive in Iquitos on the 15th for about a week. My Spanish is rudimentary and I would like to find a reputable and trustworthy person to help with my time there. Would also like to connect with the expats. Any suggestions are welcome.

Amazon Jungle Adventure Tours Peru offers tours to the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve and the Yarapa River near Iquitos, Peru.

Hello, I am interested in any information on the statis of the m/v rio amazonas. I have traveled on it several times in the past years. I dont think the ship is in operation at the present time. Will it be up and running in the near future. Is the ship in drydock and under repair. I am planning on a trip to Iquitos again in early 2009 and would like to schedule a trip on it or at least something similar. Any information would greatly be appreciated.
