    You may wish to also bring the stuff that you can buy immediately. If you are on a tourist trip you should bring both the need and what you can buy immediately.

  1. Warm sleeping bag, or buy immediately.
  2. Immersion heater for hot dip shower.

TOILETS AND SHOWERS

  1. Freezing or Solar - No sun, no heat. I recommend you buy two immersion heaters.
  2. So far they are western style in Kathmandu.

Kathmandu is very modern. Sell liquor, pot, hash, and probably women. There is also Massage places.

KATHAMANDU - Every boy that comes near you will want to sell drugs. Marijuana, Hash, Mushrooms and other varieties

INTERNET:

In Kathmandu it is 15-30 Rupees per hour.

KATHAMANDU BROADBAND - 2ND only to England for speed so far. Place connected to Bakery in center of Tamil.

HOTELS OR ACCOMMODATIONS:

SOLAR HOT WATER - Translated this means cold shower. Get a room with a hot water tank.

SHEETS: The first Hotel that has had clean and full set of top and bottom sheets. India does not have sheets, so after India so far Nepal has been like a climb out of the dark barn.

LAUNDRY:

CAREFUL WITH DRYING? - You should search for a dry sunny place before you hand wash because the clothe may never dry in the room temperature.

ROOM PRICE STAYS SAME: One or two people and the price is the same?

DORM IS STUPID: Do not go into the dorm unless you wish to be robbed by the other travelers. The saving is not worth the risk.
