My name is Andy Graham, I stopped drinking 25 years ago, and have not put alcohol or drugs in my body for 25 years. However, I am also addicted to food. Food addiction and alcoholism are similar, however, the alcoholic has no choice, he must learn how to stop his or her addiction of die. The idea of losing one pound a week is incredible, you are asking an addict to have extreme moderation over the addition. The best way to moderation is to not start, but how can I stop eating. I can fast, or stop eating for a week easier than I can slow my cravings for food. Only a non-addict would ask a person to slow his addiction, this is ludicrous.
The only true solutions is abstinence to the point where they body almost does not think it has any food, where sugar cannot create the vicious circle of craving. What a horrible addiction, food is the only one whereby I must put my addiction in my mouth.

Any amount of food makes the metabolism spike up, therefore there is a sum it takes to put food in your month.
Example: Maybe you body burst up the metabolism to eat one carrot. If you separate the carrots by a hour or two, you may well keep the metabolism running continuously. A meal on the other hand allows to stop or come to rest between meals.

Knowledge alone is not going to solve you addiction to food, this is an emotional problem, and in many ways dysfunctional behavior trips the trigger to stuff.

First, the easy information, just use the number 2000 and you will be close enough.

The USDA believes that women ages 19 to 30 years old need 2,000 calories if they're not active, 2,200 calories if they're moderately active and 2,400 calories if they're very active. Compulsive behavior, the only food allowed for temptations is negative calorie foods such as carrots or celeries. When I walk in a home of fat people and see a well-stocked pantry, I know it is hopeless, they are protecting their addiction. It is best to go the market every time you are hungry, this will truly impede your ablity to just knack without resistance.
Same Food Daily Versus a Variety of Food
The addict relaxes when there is routine, when there is change, he or she can lose the stability. When eating, it is often best to eat the exact same foods for 3-5 days, then change. This will often remove triggers from your mind.
Self-Talk
Do not allow people to say you are not fat
Do not say, "I need to eat."
County the phrase you say aloud or inside your brain.
"I want to be thin?" One times
"I want to eat?" 20 times
Solution, when you say in your head "I want to eat." instantly change the balance, and say "I want to be thin." 10 times so the self talk is balance in the proper direction. Words have weight and the weight of these thought create you self-esteem and defines how you see your self.
Temptation and Triggers
- The more temptation, the more likely a person is to eat.
Solutions:
1. Call a person who does not want you to eat
2. Do the opposite of eating, if you go run, it is contra-congruent with eating.

This is an addiction and needs treated as such, but the problem is we cannot stop, we must somehow eat, but keep the addiction moderated, not a pretty picture for an addict.

the simple thing to do to lose weight/stay healthy is
dont eat ANY kind of bread,
dont add salt or sugar to food, drinks
dont eat potatoes, pasta, pastry,rice, cereal, breaded food
dont drink milk, fruit juice, or soft drinks ( drink lots of water )
dont eat fruit ( except tomatoes )
eat ONLY ...eggs, chicken, beef, pork, fish,lentils,aspargus, vegetables, most beans and peas ( even better to eat the same things each day )
eat small 6 times a day
have one day a week when you can eat ANYTHING you want ( including fast food )
EXERCISE/ stay active
give this a go for week or 2 Andy, I guarentee you will see changes

I consider that just keeping a low intake of carbohydrates and spacing the meals properly and not eating rubbish you can keep a quite healthy life style.
