Internet Access

For the modern traveler or tourist the internet is our connection to home, the way we communicate, talk, plan, find a room, book a flight or just chat with other people on the planet.

For the Traveler the primary issues are to:

- Is the internet available in this country?
- How much does one hour of internet access cost in this country?
- Will I be able to find an internet cafe?
- How much does the internet cost in this country?
- Is it available everywhere or only in the biggest cities?
- Is there WIFI or wireless connections or Hotspots available?
- Does the WIFI internet work in the room, or has the concrete walls blocked it?

5 TYPES OF ACCESS
1. Internet Cafe - Probably the best and easy.
2. Wifi or Hotspot Hopping. - This is very difficult to find
3. Internet in Hotel - Test this before you rent the room, test the room you wish to use.
4. Cell Phone - In countries like Thailand or the Philippines you maybe be able to access the internet by purchasing an internet connection that connects to cell.

5. Satellite or Bgan Systems - Cost is about 2000 USA for unit and 10 dollars per meg of transfer, please take note and ask which continents it works on or with.

Europe and the USA have great Internet access for the Home number one, and terrible for number two.
While Asia and the Americas have great number two, and maybe a bigger problem on number two.

A TRAVELER wants number two, not number one, so when you here.
