Question: Your Product Link Is Broken
Category: Gear
Date Added: May 15th Tuesday, 2007
Answer:

Hello Don,

May 2007

Yes, and I am sorry the products pages are not working and re-directs you to the help center, I do not know when it will be fixed.

I was trying to sell products, and doing very well, however, I am a traveler, and service is impossible. I was over-whelmed with orders, confusion and questions and one day just put this direct in all the product type pages, to stop orders.

I need to work on this section and clean, the site has about 50,000 link and I put these product sales links all over the place, they were scattered and confused, now I need to do manual work on every page that has something I recommend or sell.

Very difficult to repair for a person in Togo, Africa and going somewhere else soon. My goal now is to associate with a distributor that will sell, market, and ship my products. This is the same problem I have with Ebay.com they demand answers quick, and no amount of explanation will stop a USA fast food person from wanting it now. I will soon open up the products I recommend in the gear section of the help center. I can write the help center off-line and not need full internet access.

Note the click on the site are different than this page of products, a different type of revenue.

See you on the road!

Just found your site today, read your bio -interesting - you say you make money for travel via your website .... did you know that something is wrong when someone views your product page: http://www.hobotraveler.com/recommendedandy.shtml
there is a hidden re-direct that takes you off the product page and ont to the "letters to the editor section" and no way to review your suggested products.   Not good I would assume if you work off clicks!

I just wanted to let you know since I would have this as a concern if it was my page.

At 55 years, and 29 years 11 months with my company, I was laid off this month.  About-to-be-hobo-traverler-#2.  See you on the road!

Thank you,
