Hello Diane, Thanks for the Kudos, I appreciate the support. I was in a way, hoping to enlighten people to the idea, this is me, a real person, I am really here in Togo, I am not sitting in an office, writing a story, when you pick up my diary and start reading, it is not perfect. The media tends to create a sense of stories and writing, whereby everything has to have exclamation marks, full of hyperbole and fiction Normal life even in Togo is normal. I was laughing at the money part, this is the essential information a person need to travel to a country. How much does it cost, essential travel knowledge and what I would love to leave out, take tons of time to remember, but I know somebody, somewhere is thinking. I will go to Togo, how much does it cost, it is safe, where will I live. Thanks Live is Good Andy in Atakpame, Togo West Africa April 2007 YOU WROTE: Name: Diane Message: I-ve been reading your blog for a couple of years now and still enjoy it. It-s like I say to myself, "I think I-ll check out what Andy is doing". Your past few months of blogging have really been good, very intospective as well as informative. Don-t listen to the negatives, the small everyday things are what interest me and probably many others considering the popularity of your blog. I remember the shock and pleasure of reading Keroac the first time. His book about being a fire lookout alone on top of a mountain was groundbreaking for me, since it was my first experience of the personal narrative dealing with so called insignificant everyday activities. Anyway, sorry so long-winded. Sorry too about your accident, Thank you,
