Selling Your Email Address
I refuse to sell your email address. This makes my life incredibly difficult….

The not selling is easy of your email address is easy, Blogger.com keeps the control of your email address and I do not have to worry.

I cannot allow anyone to work on my site, blog or other toys of the trade and this makes my life incredibly difficult.

I think we have about 25,000 to maybe 50,000, not really important the number because they are not for sale.

If I give the Username and Password to my site to some techie that told me, he or she can fix this or that. This person then has access to the bank account.

It is incredibly difficult to have things fixed when I refuse to allow people on the site. I am trying to figure out how to open the door for a few hours to people, then change all the username and password immediately afterwards. This is not a game, this is serious confusion. The only safe thing to do is never give them out to techies, hacking is not about beating away at usernames and codes, it is normally an inside job, someone has the passwords and is maliciously greedy.

I had a person just ask, give me your username and password and I will do this, I have known this person for a few years and know he is not to be trusted. He works for some big web sites, huge, and I am quite sure he steals stuff, uses information that is not his.

Saying I refuse to sell emails also must mean, I refuse to give out usernames and passwords to my site without severe checks and balances in place. I mean super strict.

I remember coordinating an open door for about four hours, then changing the username and passwords. The bad part is the ones I think about working on my site are the ones I think may be capable of making these back door thingies, it the do indeed exist.

Then again, if a techie told me they know how to make a back door, this would also make me nervous, and why did you spend time learning to do this?
