Hello Michael, I do bounce from place to place. 99 percent of the time crossing a border by land you do not need an onward Ticket. I can say honestly in 10 years of travel I have only had two problems with this issue when going by LAND... On the ground, not flying. One time in Mexico, which was and may still be one the biggest problems with corruption, thus this type of issue. Then again in Mongolia trying go get a Visa to Russia. In the Caribbean a constant problem when flying between islands. Normally as a Canadian, your are going to be the exception to the rule. However, as I discovered in the Singapore Airport going to the Philippines, they forced me to purchase an onward ticket to get on the plane. The countries of the planet have put me between a rock and a hard place. Pretty much you need to make up a ticket, itinerary, or have a travel agent help you make up one. Then either cancel the ticket, or just never buy it. The E-tickets are making it easy to have some print out to show the people who want to know. http://www.hobotraveler.com/2006/12/fake-onward-tickets.html Another explanation...
