2-3Day city   
AFTER ARMY - Refers to the Israel traveler. They all are required to go to the army, So either before or after army they travel. Normally they travel after army.   
Anglophone   
Around the World Ticket - A plane ticket that normally is for one year. You will choose the places and the stop. Common with backpackers. Maybe 1- 5 percent.

Backpacker Path   
Backpacker Theory - What is a backpacker and what is not a backpacker, used this term a lot to explain whether the lonely planet writers in Caribbean were backpackers or tourist.   
Beggen - They are begging to get robbed. Wearing jewelry or camera around neck.   
Bible - The guidebook   
Bible Bashing - To complain about the guidebook.   
BLANKED THEM - To give a completely blank face and to know understand or acknowledge anything. Common among the natives or locals, but the backpacker can do it back.   
Bongos - Men that carry bongos to pick up women.

Extreme Tourist - A person that will pay any amount of money to live like they do at home, they stay in the ultimate resort, see nothing of the country, except from the inside of AC vehicles. Nobody gets close without the guide stopping them.   
Five Star - Never Left the Resort Person

Frenchie - Refer to the characteristic of being French culture, a little snobbish, offish   
Front pack - A normal small backpack, but worn on the front and you have your large backpack on your back.   
FULL MOON PARTY - An excuse for people to party and locals earn money. This is being copied around the world. Most famous is Full Moon Party is probably on the Island of Koh Phan Ngan  Thailand. 
Gap girls - Young travelers from England traveling in the gap between school.   
Goa Thing - Reference to going to Goa   
Gouge the Travel Class - To be put in a track or channel that seems normal, however is on a gouge level of earning money for locals. Happens often to Missionaries.

Lagerhead Brit - Person that drink lager in his or her local, gets drunk and decides to travel, not the brightest of the bunch and tend to talk only futball, drugs, and has more tatoos than normal. Smokes cigarettes one after another, person to be avoided unless you have no sense.   
landmine Hotels - A country like Togo where you can accindally go to city where all the hotels are extrmely high   
Last screwing: The last time you get ripped, bullshitted, or cheated on the way out of a country. Normally this indicated you are between a rock and a hard place and they know they got you and you must pay. Example: The taxi from the train to the border. There is no way to know the fair price of the distance so you pay.   
Lighting Out - Paul Theroux uses to talk about taking off in the book, Dark Star Safari   
Local Class - To travel as the locals travel, nothing special   
Locals or a Local - The people that were born and raised in the city or area you are visiting. People you meet in strange cities will behave differently when they are not locals.

Queue - The line that forms for the market, toilet, immigration. This is what England does well. A topic for discussion and an annoyance because large numbers of countries you must push your way to the front of lines.   
Rastafarian First encountered in Thailand. Rasta Man / Ras: A   
Round Trip Travelers - A person that has his or her round trip ticket in hand, they know when they go home.   
Rucksack - Small backpack or smallish backpack worn on front of back, the term used by most British people and is not really American English

Sleeping Policeman: A speed bump. First encountered in the Caribbean (Tobago).   
Spot - The Spot - Hippies look for the spot where they can be hippies or drugs or bongos.   
Stamped - To get the visa, tourist card, or whatever is necessary to enter a country. Normally this made with a rubber stamp with a pounding thud noise.

Television English: When someone speaks well articulated English without an accent. First encountered in the Caribbean (Bequia).

The Glow - A over smiley face on a person happy or overly excited to be in a country and thinks they are in paradise. Normally on younger persons. The country can do not wrong thoughts.   
The Hellos - A comparison of where you are from? Who? Why? etc. Some traveler hate this.

Tin Tin - Belgium or French Cartoon about a boy that travels the world, you will see the cartoon on shirts in various cities around the planet.   
Too Much Country - A country where if there is something it is always too much. India. If it is dirty. It is too Dirty. If it is Beautiful It is too beautiful. Always too much.   
Tourist Backpackers - Less than three months, go back to school, no budget, normally in Europe

Tourist Class Bus - No locals on the bus  and make an express trip between destinations. Probably cost twice as much and is twice as fast and smell twice as good. Bend over and pay because you can and do not want to mix with the locals.
Tourist Menu - Expensive - Menu in English with European or American food dressed up to look typical, however very far from typical.

Travel Stupidity: When you have too difficult plane tickets, gouging of hotels, and transportation that is overpriced.   
Travel Talk Mistake: Common phrases an experienced traveler learns not to do like guess what country a person is from, or to not be aware of the typical stereotypes of travelers of specific countries and start talking about them.

Traveler - Person that goes to place to place with no plans, often changing directions. Buys a one-way plane tickets.

True Believers - The person with the glazed look in thteir eyes when they talk about a country. Thebelieve life is grass is always greener on the other side of the planet.

Trust Fund Traveler - Person that travels because has rich family member that dies and gave them money.   
Two Day and Out City - A city where there is nothing to do but to look at the tourist attractions and traveler tend to leave very fast. Normally there is not a TV in the Hotel.

Virgin - Person that is just entered the continent.   
Visa Run

Walking Stick - Stick to use to repel dogs, protect yourself in Africa, repel touts, hawkers   
Weekend Tourist - A person that is working in a country, then goes on excursions on the weekend. Africa or near Military bases can cause a shortage of rooms on the weekend, and room prices being a very bad value as the person have more money than sense.

Yachtie: A yacht owner; a rich white person. AKA: Cruiser. First encountered in the Caribbean (Tobago).   
Yellow Bible - Lonely planet   
   
Taxi Hotel - No place to walk to of interest, you need to take a taxi. Not good for a backpacker on a cheap budget, better to find a hotel in the center of city.   
Girl in Tow - When a man has a small Asian girls that follows along.   
Traveler Rules - A set or rule that say what is a traveler   
The Trade-Off - A traveler make a trade, they trade comfort for a good life   
Backend - Frontend cleaning - Some hotels do a good job of making the front or what you see look good, but the back, the under the table, the under the bed is not
