| Answer:
Hello Chris, I have a GPS Magellan Explorist, cost about about 100 USA and is durable, I cannot find anyway to connect to electricity, it eat batteries like Candy. I was going to upgrade, but did not find a price that was good. I wanted to pay 100-200 and get a way to plug into electricity, and connect to my computer. The big problem with a GPS is to transfer the data correctly and fast from the GPS to a computer. I have to be extremely cautious and check. If I remove the batteries while the device is on, it will erase all the memory. I now take a reading and type into the computer when I return home, if erased, then the distance from here to there is difficult to calculate. I have two coordinates now one locations, like say, my Mom and Atakpame, Togo. IF Moms coordinates are in the GPS, I can look and see how many Kilometers or Miles from home. I want a cable between the GPS and the computer. To use a map is to need a car, Thank you,
