| Answer:
Hello Chris, Man of all knowledge, I am having a huge problem with my GPRS connection. I am connecting to the internet by using my cell phone as a modem and dialing the Togocel phone tower network. The rooms are concrete, the walls are concrete. I moved from a hotel here in Kpalime, Togo called the Bafana Bafana that was right below the cell tower of Togocel, to the l'Aurore hotel and now the signal is too weak. I think I am less than 3 kilomoters from the tower, this is not good. This is close, so when I travel to the hills or jungle or really the scragg brush of Togo, I probably will not be able to connect. Do you know of a way to make a simple Antenna Extension that will work with my cell phone. I have put the cell phone in the window already, and the Bluetooth has a limited range. Andy in Kpalime, Togo West Africa March 2007 Thank you, Andy HoboTraveler.com http://www.hobotraveler.com/blogger.html 2007-03-22 |
