Hello Summer,

You email was NOT hijacked, all is great.

We did a mass deletion of post, maybe about 3000 in the last few days of problem email. The site is having problems because of links that do not work or lead to empty pages - 404 and redirects.

We are cleaning the HoboTraveler.com site of bad links, bad comments and many problems.

Sad to me, i know my friends, people I know have had comments thrown out with the wash.

If you have submitted, please resubmit, we are not able to moderate better new comments and keep the HoboTraveler.com site free of spammers and junk, or mean people.

Strange--received this auto-reply, but as far as I know, did not submit anything (or last did about +/- 3 years ago).  Is your auto-reply going back that far?????  Just trying to make sure my e-mail address didn-t get highjacked.

Anyway, I check in from time to time on the blog to see where you are--glad to see you-re still growing and exploring.  I try to continue to do so as well--next 2 big destinations: Cambodia/Laos and Argentina/Chile.  Lots of other less-exotic locales in the meantime.  Do a job that I love about 5 months a year which allows me to travel worry-free the other 7--not too bad an arrangement. 

You are sounding a bit jaded--but you-ll probably delete that comment anyway.  Just another throwaway comment in your world where most people are expendable. 

Will be looking for travel partner in South America--prob. Nov 2007 to Jan 2008 for part of that time--if any of your regular readers want to meet up in that part of the world....

Oh, and this is a real question (although a banal one at that)--the places you are now--in Africa--how safe are they for a single female traveler?  Am travel wise, so I avoid the stupid mistakes you often warn people about and speak perfect French....
